YUCE SECONDARY SCHOOL

Yüce Secondary School is located in a village in Dereli,Giresun.It's about 60 km far away from the
city centre. Our school started education in 2007-2008.At the secondary school part, there are 69 students and 9
teachers with the school administration. Nursery class,primary school and secondary school are at
the same building. Regarding the other institutions, 200 teachers take education at the school building
and there are 15 teachers at total. Our school building isn't so big and has 11 classes.Apart from this,
there are library,science lab,chess class,conference hall,EU Office,multipurpose hall,dining hall and
a canteen. For the dissemination of innovation in schools, there are smartboards and also net
connection in each class.With these, students can learn by using their senses; -visual, -auditory and -
tactually. In 2017-2018 educational year, we have run a Ka101 Erasmus+ project about web 2.0 tools. We had course in Portugal and teachers became expert on Web 2.0 tools. Teachers and students are now aware of using web tools during lessons.
